AWANA stands for "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed."
This Bible club provides a great opportunity young children ages two through sixth grade to participate in Bible memorization, enjoyable game time, as well as challenging counseling time from the Word of God.
This ministry seeks to support and strengthen the faith of our widows by meeting needs out of a tangible expression of Christ's love.
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God"
(2 Corinthians 1:2-4)
The Nursing Home Ministry is committed to visiting, ministering, witnessing, and meeting the needs of those persons confined in a nursing home facility, while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The mission of the Nursing Home Ministry is to provide the gospel to those shut in and unable to attend a worship service. We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ as Lord through teaching faith in God through Jesus Christ.
At PGBC, the Worship Choir, is made up of people from all walks of life and varying degrees of talent and experience. The one thing that all members have in common is a sincere desire to use their gifts to worship God through music.
We gather each week to worship, laugh, cry, encourage and challenge each other. The Worship Choir is open to any one of high school age or older who has a genuine relationship with the Lord and wants to worship through singing. An audition is NOT required.
During service, your child will learn biblical songs and be cared by people who have a heart for children, all while you worship and connect with friends, and become equipped and encouraged in your walk with Christ.
We love seeing the eternal impact that God makes in the lives of these young students in this most important time of their life. And yes, WE ARE SO EXITED THAT WE ARE ALREADY GEARING UP FOR NEXT SUMMER!
Our Kids Church is for 3 year olds through 2nd graders and is during our 10:55 Sunday worship service. This group participates in many activities throughout the year, including summer water days, and special events. Each week they learn Bible verses, Bible lessons, and great songs.
The desire of the Women’s Ministry at PGBC is to share and equip women with God's truths so that they will come into a growing and fruitful relationship with their personal Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. The Women’s Ministry offers several different types of Bible studies, fellowships, and special events.
